Maggie’s House: A Place of Love and Rescue.

Maggie’s House Rescue specializes in the training and rehabilitation of foster and rescue dogs with a special attention to bully breeds. Maggie’s House started out of tragedy with one very tiny angel named Maggie who was attacked and killed by another dog. In coping with this very difficult loss, Maggie’s House was founded to provide proper training for dogs who may otherwise be euthanized for their aggressive behavior. We believe that with proper training and good leadership skills, we can create a more happy and safe environment for families and their pets. Maggie sacrificed her sweet life to save many others and in remembrance we continue with our mission of rescue.

what we do

The main philosophy at Maggie’s House is to provide the best possible care for your pet in a professional and caring way. The owner, Ms. Jenny, loves all God’s creatures and holds all breeds of dogs at the highest place in her heart. Her focus is to obedience train and transform your dog into a well balanced pet so the relationship between you and your best friend will last a lifetime.

Maggie’s House teaches pet manners, obedience, and more using dog-friendly training techniques anyone can use. Using the latest behavior research, we teach the dog to make the right choices before engaging in the unwanted behavior. We offer convenient dog training with flexible and personal options for your schedule. Our focus is on practical behaviors and we encourage working with your entire family to ensure consistency and reliability.

Maggie’s House is happy to work with all breeds, types, and ages of dog from the time they may safely leave their litter (at least 7 weeks, preferably later in many cases). We offer help with manners or basic obedience training as well as behavior problems ranging from house-training to fear-aggression, and we believe it’s important to collaborate with veterinarians when medical factors may be involved.
